I guess all versions of DictionaryForMIDs did have that problem with the SonyEricsson cell phones ! I am not sure on which version I did receive the first email that told me that on SonyEricsson cell phones there is an OutOfMemoryError (2.0 was the first public version; I believe latest on 2.3 I received emails from people who told me about the SE problems; probably the problem was there before also).
According to the version history log the SE-Workaround was introduced with version 2.4.2.
The error that I was told was always the same: OutOfMemoryError !
Not on all SE phones, though. For example I received an email from a K7xx owner who told me that DictionaryForMIDs worked fine on his phone (on a DfM version that did not yet have the workaround).
