Betreff: application error

i've been dying to install an english dictionary for my mobile phone, motorola rzrv3x. i was so happy to see all of the java dictionaries from your site, but everytime i download them to my phone and tried to install them, my phone always said "APPLICATION ERROR". i download the .jar file and install them to my phone. but they didnt work. i badly need the dictionary for my job as a freelance tutor. please help.

i used to have a nokia 3230 and it had a .sis oxford dictionary. do you have the same dictionary for my java-enabled phone? thanks!

Some Motorola phones have problems with long class names and show an "APPLICATION ERROR" message. The only solution is to shorten the classname. Maybe Gert can help you :).

Yes, there was a problem on some Motorolas with long application names. That problem was solved somewhere around version 2.7.

@yobo: did you try a few different versions of DictionaryForMIDs ? Which ones did you try to install ?
